According to reports Wigan Athletic are closing in on a £2 million deal for Chelsea FC hitman Franco di Santo.
It is understood that the Blues forward will undergo a medical at the DW Stadium.
Di Santo spent last season on loan at Blackburn Rovers after struggling to make an impact on the first-team following his move from Chilean side Audax Italiano in 2007.
The Argentina Under-20 international has been told that his first-team opportunities at Stamford Bridge will be limited and Latics boss Roberto Martinez has offered him a way out.
