According to reports Blackpool FC have been unable to lure midfielder Kyle Lafferty to Bloomfield Road.
Seasiders boss Ian Holloway was allegedly in the market today for Lafferty, Portsmouth’s David Nugent and Leicester City’s DJ Campbell.
Holloway has succeeded in persuading Campbell to switch to Bloomfield Road but was unable to have Lafferty follow as the winger wants to stay and fight for his place at Ibrox.
Campbell’s acquisition meant that Holloway could end his interest in Nugent.
