According to reports Sunderland AFC are prepared to offer Wigan Athletic pair Andy Reid and David Healy in return for want-away winger Charles N'Zogbia.
The Shields Gazette claims Black Cats boss Steve Bruce is looking to clear the duo from his wage bill and is hoping Latics boss Roberto Martinez will be tempted to take them in return for the unsettled Frenchman.
The pair are unlikely to figure much at the Stadium of Light this season as Bruce seeks to rebuild his squad but it remains to be seen whether Martinez will be interested.
Reid was a regular in the Sunderland side last term until injury ruled him out of the last four months of the season.
Healy has struggled in his time at Sunderland, and has failed to break into the first team during his two years at the club.
