Wigan Athletic’s unsettled defender Charles N’Zogbia is being chased by a number of Premier League clubs.
Birmingham City, Sunderland and Stoke City are all interested in the 24-year old Frenchman.
The Midlands club are reportedly prepared to offer around £9 million.
Alex McLeish has already seen an £8 million bid rejected but is not giving up on the chase.
Sunderland boss Steve Bruce, who brought N'Zogbia to the DW Stadium, is desperate to sign the player again and has already had a £6m bid rejected by Wigan.
