According to reports Wigan Athletic have made an offer for Stoke City striker Tuncay Sanli.
The Daily Mail claims Latics boss Roberto Martinez has failed in a bid to lure Tuncay away from Stoke City in a cut-price move.
The Latics are believed to have seen a £3 million offer for the Turkey international rejected by Tony Pulis.
The Potters' boss spent £5 million on the forward just 12 months ago and wants to recoup most of his money before sanctioning any move.
