The Daily Express claims Cardiff will sign Wales midfielder Koumas when the club’s transfer embargo is lifted.
Koumas struggled to make an impression for the latics last season following the arrival of boss Roberto Martinez last summer.
The Welshman is expected to leave the DW Stadium on loan with Cardiff his likely destination.
