According to reports Wigan Athletic are in pole position to sign Chelsea FC striker Franco di Santo.

The Latics were understood to be battling with Bolton Wanderers and Dutch sides Feyernoord and Twente Enschede for the youngster’s signature.

The Mirror claims Chelsea are reluctant to deal with Bolton Wanderers.

In the last few days Feyenoord chief Leo Beenhakker has revealed he would not be pursuing the Argentine.
