Roberto Martinez says he wants to bring another three players to Wigan Athletic but is in no rush to finalise deals.

The Spaniard has already landed striker Mauro Boselli and Paraguay international defender Antolin Alcaraz.

However, he has so far lost Mario Melchiot, Tomasz Kupisz and Tomasz Cywka.

Titus Bramble appears headed for Sunderland while Olivier Kapo has been told he can move on.

Martinez said: "Our squad is not closed yet obviously - we are three bodies short and we will make sure that we bring the right ones in.

"We will make up our minds of how many bodies we need (to bring in) to finalise the squad.

"But we are not going to do that until the later stages (of the transfer window)."
