New striker Mauro Boselli netted a brace on his Wigan Athletic debut in their friendly victory over Swedish outfit Ostersunds.
Former Estudiantes and Boca Juniors striker Boselli was on the mark twice in Latics' first friendly of the pre-season schedule, with Charles N'Zogbia adding a third in a 3-2 win over Swedish side Ostersunds.
Finding the back of the net either side of half-time Boselli gave an early indication of his goal-scoring ability in the friendly encounter that marks the end of an intense training week in Sweden.
N'Zogbia's finish proved to be the winner with the Swedes coming back from 3-0 down to score twice and provide a nervy finish, but Latics' strong performance resulted in a satisfactory start to their pre-season fixtures.
