Striker Mauro Boselli has spoken of his delight at joining Wigan Athletic and is desperate to get working with his new teammates.
The hitman joined the Latics yesterday from Estudiantes on a four-year deal.
Boselli told the club’s official website: "I'm excited and can't wait to start training with my new team-mates soon.
"I want to thank everybody at the club for making the move possible and for being so welcoming, a lot of effort has gone into the transfer and I'm very grateful for that.
"To be honest I wish we could start tomorrow.
"Everything Roberto (Martinez) said about the club and English football helped a great deal and made me realise that this was the right move for me.
"He wanted me here to play and enjoy my football in Wigan, which means a lot to me.
"In Argentina fans appreciate a player who plays with passion, and from what I've seen it's the same in England. Hopefully I can make the fans proud of the work I do on the pitch for them and for the team."
