According to reports Sporting Gijon defender Jose Angel is the target of a number of Premier League clubs.
The Daily Star Sunday claims Wigan Athletic are among them, hoping to take the defender to the DW Stadium.
However, it is understood that Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in the youngster.
The 20-year-old – who is known as 'Cote' in Spain and is a Spain Under-21 international – can play at left-back and in midfield.
