Former Wigan Athletic midfielder Wilson Palacios has admitted he views his Tottenham move as a stepping stone to joining Real Madrid.
The Honduran midfielder has been a key player for Redknapp's side following his £12 million move from Wigan last January.
But the 25-year-old Palacios feels he is capable of bigger things.
He told The Sun: "I am really happy at Tottenham but I will continue working for a future move to a bigger club.
"I would like to play for Real Madrid.
"Today, many people respect me in England. That's because of my hard-working attitude.”
