It is reported that Wigan Athletic are facing competition from Fulham FC for the services of Villarreal striker Marco Ruben.
Ruben saw a move to Wigan Athletic fall through during the January market and he is currently back with Villarreal B.
The People claims Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is now keeping tabs on Ruben's form leading up to the summer market.
Ruben, who has also played for River Plate, Rosario Central and Recreativo Huelva, has scored nine goals in the Spanish Segunda Division for Villarreal B this season.
