Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp was delighted with his side’s convincing 3-0 victory at Wigan Athletic and welcomed a slice of good fortune Jermaine Defoe that accompanied his opening goal.
The win pushed Tottenham into the fourth Champions League qualifying spot.
"It was a great performance from us today. I was really pleased with the attitude we showed," said Redknapp.
Tottenham got a stroke of luck as Defoe's opener was clearly offside, but that did not overly concern Redknapp.
"I won't sleep tonight," he joked.
"It doesn't bother me at all. Sometime you get them sometimes you don't."
The Tottenham boss also had words of praise for Russian Pavlyuchenko, hinting that it is only his attitude which sometimes lets him down.
"They (the fans) love him," he said.
"He's got ability and when he wants to play and wants to work he's great."
The only disappointing note for the visitors was the loss of Ledley King to injury in the second half.
"Ledley looks like he's torn a muscle," said Redknapp.
"That's the problem. He's such a fantastic player, it shouldn't be too long."
