In the wake of Newcastle United’s reported offer for Crystal Palace FC youngster Victor Moses, Wigan Athletic appear ready to make a move along with Manchester City and Liverpool FC.

Administrators have been called in to Palace to straighten out their financial affairs and Moses is a prime asset which will almost certainly be sold by the end of transfer window.

Indeed, the 19-year-old was barred from playing for the Eagles against Newcastle on Wednesday night for fear of him sustaining a move-scuppering injury.

The Daily Mail also claims the administrators are considering bids from Nottingham Forest and West Brom too.
