It is reported that Blackburn Rovers striker Jason Roberts is in line for a return to Wigan Athletic.

The People claims Rovers are looking to sign new players, but can only do so if they offload and it seems they are prepared to listen to offers for Roberts.

Latics chief Roberto Martinez is keen to land a proven Premier League goalscorer and could get Roberts for around £1.5million.

The 31-year-old made 93 appearances for the Latics between 2004 and 2006, scoring 37 goals.
