Burkina Faso’s Moumouni Dagano is in the sights of Latics boss Roberto Martinez.
Moumouni Dagano is the leading scorer from the African World Cup qualifiers and has admitted he would love the chance to play in the Premier League.
The 28-year-old Burkina Faso marksman bagged 12 goals during the recent World Cup qualifiers. Overall he has scored a goal every other game in his 43 international appearances.
Dagano is currently with Qatar outfit Al Khor. Previously he spent five years in France with Guingamp and Sochaux.
Now he is attracting interest from the Premier League.
Dagano said: "I am very happy to lead the goal-scoring chart ahead of all the world class strikers all over Africa.
"My ambition is to play one day in England because their football is close to my own game.
“Hopefully, the African Nations Cup will give me that opportunity."
