Wigan eyeing sibling of Tottenham star Palacios

Latics are reported to be watching Honduran defender Johnny Palacios.

Palacios is the younger brother of Tottenham midfielder Wilson Palacios, a former Latics star.

The Mirror says manager Roberto Martinez has sent a scout to watch the Olimpia right back in action tonight against Peru.

Palacios junior, 22, has become a part of the Honduras international side that reached the World Cup finals and also features his brother Wilson, and players Hendry Thomas and Maynor Figueroa.

Thomas himself has recently called on his fellow countrymen to join him and Maynor in the Premier League.
