Latics host the Cottagers on Sunday looking to put the disappointment of their 4-0 drubbing at bottom-of-the-table Portsmouth last week behind them.

Maynor Figueroa will again be missing with a knee injury that is likely to keep him sidelined until Christmas.

Boss Roberto Martinez has no new fitness concerns and welcomes back full-back Erik Edman following a bout of concussion.

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson will be assessing his players following their fruitless Europa Cup trip to Roma.

Danny Murphy is once again likely to miss out with a knee problem, while Damien Duff (Achilles) and Andy Johnson (shoulder) are also doubtful.

Bobby Zamora is in the frame for a starting role after scoring in the 3-1 win against Liverpool last weekend.

Possible starting XIs:

Wigan: Kirkland, Melchiot, Boyce, Bramble, Edman, Scharner, Diame, Thomas, N'Zogbia, Rodallega, Scotland.

Fulham: Schwarzer, Pantsil, Hughes, Hangeland, Konchesky, Greening, Baird, Etuhu Dempsey, Kamara, Zamora.
