Martinez is transforming Wigan’s style says Boyce

Wigan defender Emmerson Boyce has admitted boss Roberto Martinez is gradually changing the way his side plays.

Boyce was delighted with the win away at Burnley at the weekend and is pleased with the way Martinez is determined to move away from the style adopted by his predecessor, Steve Bruce.

He said: "We have changed a lot from last season.

“The boss wants us to be a physical team but also a passing team.

"It was always going to take time. We're getting there."
