According to reports Wigan Athletic have signed winger Alieu Darbo.
The Daily Mail claims Latics boss Roberto Martinez has finalised a deal for Gambia Under-20 midfielder.
The Swedish-born 20-year-old has had trials at Sunderland and Newcastle United.
However, it seems he is on his way to the DW Stadium.
Darbo said: 'I went over to England and signed for three years. It feels good.'
"Both Newcastle and Sunderland had the lad on trial and didnt want him. Wigan beat no-one to his signature. Rubbish article."
