According to reports Wigan Athletic are waiting on a response from Blackburn Rovers midfielder Keith Andrews.
The Mirror claims Latics boss Roberto Martinez wants the player who is looking for a move away from Rovers.
The Republic of Ireland international was recently on loan at Championship side Ipswich Town and has made it known he wants out of Ewood Park.
While he is available, it seems he is reluctant to join the Latics because they are keen on including a contract clause requiring him to take a pay-cut if they are relegated.
