Wigan Athletic launch bid for Bristol City striker Maynard

According to reports Wigan Athletic are interested in Bristol City attacker Nicky Maynard.

The Daily Mail claims Latics boss Roberto Martinez is eyeing the forward.

It is understood Wigan are launching a £2 million bid for the 25-year-old.

West Bromwich Albion, Wolves and Swansea City are also believed to be interested in the striker.

i dont see the point of signing any strikers unless we play 2 up front he will get starved of the ball we need to get the ball up field fast
