Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez feels his side has gained much-needed confidence from recent results.
The Latics have taken points off both Chelsea and Liverpool in their past two matches.
However, he knows his side face a mountainous task when they travel to reigning champions Manchester United on Boxing Day.
"You saw what happened at Fulham - one of the strongest units defensively in this league - and the way they won this game showed there was no sign of weakness,” Martinez said of United’s 5-0 victory at Craven Cottage on Wednesday.
"But I am very happy with our form against Chelsea and Liverpool - including our attacking play.
"To get 10 attempts on goal against a team like Liverpool shows the attacking threat that we have."
