According to reports Wigan Athletic are interested in Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp.
The Daily Star claims Latics boss Roberto Martinez is eyeing the forward.
Rovers have confirmed that Sharp's contract carries a £3 million buy-out clause.
It is understood that the Latics will face competition from Championship sides Southampton and Ipswich in the race to sign the hitman.
