Former Preston North End winger and full-back Eddie Lewis has died at the age of 76 in South Africa after a long battle with cancer.
Lewis was also one of the original Busby Babes at Manchester United before joining North End for £9,000 in 1955.
He played 13 times for the club, scoring on his debut against Aston Villa, before joining West Ham United in 1956.
