Preston North End's game against Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park on Boxing Day has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
A pitch inspection was held at 9.00am on Friday morning in which the referee judged parts of the Glanford Park pitch to be unplayable.
The pitch had been covered for the last fortnight, but sub-zero temperatures for the past week resulted in sections of the pitch freezing underneath.
It is North End's second successive postponed game and the re-arranged fixture is yet to be finalised.
However last weeks postponed game against Watford at Vicarage Road has been rearranged for Tuesday, February 15 (7.45pm kick-off)
