Preston North End have reportedly slapped a £2.5 million price tag on goalkeeper Andy Lonergan.
The move is designed to thwart West Bromwich Albion’s interest in the stopper.
The Mirror says North End rejected a £750,000 bid from the Baggies last week and are determined to keep the highly-rated goalkeeper at Deepdale.
Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo is targeting a new keeper to provide competition for No. 1 Scott Carson.
