Manchester United youngster David Gray has signed for Preston North End on a two-year deal.
The Edinburgh-born defender has moved to Deepdale on a free transfer after his contract at Old Trafford came to an end this summer.
Gray's only first-team experience at Manchester United was a Carling Cup appearance, but the defender has had loan spells at Royal Antwerp and Plymouth Argyle.
Gray told the club’s official website: "I have been on loan for the last two seasons and now I have got a permanent move which I think I will enjoy.
"They [Preston North End] have always been a solid Championship side for as long as I can remember. There are great traditions and it is a big Club."
The Scotsman added: "I am a full back that likes to go forward is the best way that I can describe myself.
I am a right-sided full-back who can also play wide on the right as well."
