Preston North End have signed Arsenal striker Rhys Murphy on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old, who came through the Gunners' youth system, will stay at Deepdale until 30th June 2012.
Murphy spent part of the 2009-10 season on loan at Saturday's Deepdale opponents Brentford whilst he is also a regular starter in the Arsenal reserve side.
The hot prospect is manager Graham Westley's fifth signing of the transfer window and the boss will be hoping his young acquisition can fire North End up towards the playoffs.
