Preston North End manager Phil Brown believes hard work on the training ground will turn his sides failures around.
His side were beaten again today by Bury at Gigg Lane and Brown admits confidence is low.
"Until we can get our noses in front, the confidence is taking a bashing every week.
"The confidence is low, the belief is low, you've just got to keep working hard on the training ground and hopefully that will turn around.
"We are in relegation form, two months ago we were in promotion form if not Championship form - we've got to turn it around."
On loan Liverpool winger David Amoo's first half strike was enough to seal Bury's first home win in four matches.
"It was a poor second half from out point of view, I thought firsthalf we matched them. Said Brown.
"We seemed to lack any sort of thrust in the front line.
"They showed a tenacity for a derby match today that we didn't show."
Brown bemoaned his sides luck in front of goal, but also paid credit to the hard work of Jamie Proctor who has only just returned from a hernia operation.
"The one that rolls across the goal-line seems to be the state of play where lucks concerned.
"I thought he (Proctor) was a shining example to anyone playing in a Preston North End strip."
