Preston North End midfielder Darel Russell has joined League One leaders Charlton Athletic on an emergency loan deal until January 5th.
The 31-year-old has made four appearances for the Lilywhites this season, scoring one goal which was against the Addicks in North End's 2-0 Carling Cup victory in September.
Russell joined Preston in August last year on a Bosman after his contract with Norwich City had expired.
He’s played a total of 31 games for North End, but his have been limited in recent months.
Russell will make his debut in Charlton’s FA Cup tie against Carlisle United a week on Saturday.
