Preston North End will face a trip to Spotland to face Rochdale in the Quarter Final of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
Phil Brown’s men will make the short journey to Greater Manchester for the Northern section clash either on November 8 or November 9.
North End made it through to the last eight after beating Morecambe 7-6 on penalties on Tuesday after squandering a 2-0 lead in normal time.
Rochdale beat Walsall 3-1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw at Spotland.
