Preston North End have completed the signing of Jamaican international winger Keammar Daley on a two-year deal from Tivoli Gardens after he impressed on trial.
The 23 year old must now complete the formalities of obtaining a VISA back in Jamaica before being eligible to play for the Lilywhites.
The Reggae Boyz star had a successful trial period during July and did enough to impress manager Phil Brown and to earn a contract at Deepdale.
He will be given the number 19 shirt and it is hoped his VISA application can be completed in time to make his debut in mid-September.
After completion of the deal manager Phil Brown expressed his delight with the signing, he said: "I'm delighted to have secured the services of Keammar Daley and I'm looking forward to working with a very impressive winger.
"Keammar is a very exciting prospect which he showed in a couple of pre-season games against Morecambe and Wigan.
"Against Wigan he displayed an impressive turn of foot and proved he has the ability to dribble past top class players.
"We have had to sit patiently and wait for everything to fall into place and luckily, on deadline day, it has come through.
"Unfortunately Keammar has picked up a little niggle in his pre-season training which will keep him out for ten to 14 days but it will take time anyway to secure a VISA.
Keammar, who has made 11 appearances for Jamaica scoring two goals added: "It has taken a while for the move to happen but i'm thankful it has.
"The main thing I remember from the last time I was here were the fans. They are fantastic and will play a big part in the Club going forward.
"I want to come here, make the Preston fans proud and show my team-mates that I am a good player."
