Wanderers are keeping tabs on Red Bull Salzburg striker Marc Janko.

The Daily Mail says Bolton manager Gary Megson is eager to strengthen his strikeforce and has been alerted to the possibility the Red Bull Salzburg striker mght be available on loan.

However, Janko's agent has ruled out a move to the Premier League during the current transfer window.

Speaking to the Austrian press Georg Stanggassinger has stressed that his charge will be staying at Red Bull Salzburg.

He said: "That's complete rubbish. There has never been any talk with Fulham, we are not in touch. This comes right out of the blue.

"To see Marc Janko leave Red Bull this summer is something I can rule out, one hundred per cent.

"From our point of view there will be no transfer action regarding Marc until June 2010.

"We do not know what will come up then. Marc has the desire to stay on at Red Bull."
