A single second half goal from Garry Hunter was enough earn Morecambe a spot in the play-offs with a 1-0 victory over vistors Aldershot.
It was in the second half that The Shrimps stepped-up a geat to secure fourth position in League Two in their last match of the regular season at Christie Park before the move to a new ground.
Hunter punched a low cross from Paul Mullin into the back of the net when 'keeper Barry Roche made a long clearance kick that caught the Surrey team at sixes and sevens.
The Shots began the game well but wasted a series of scoring opportunities in the first half as Damien Spence and Marlon Jackson both shot wide when they should have found their mark.
For Morecambe Mullin came near scoring with a header that was saved by Jamie Young and Damian Spencer also had a good effort saved before Hunter claimed the win.
Afterwards Aldershot assistant manager Gary Owers said: "We had a few chances to take the lead, didn't take them and got done in the second half.
"Thankfully we didn't have to come here today and get a result. We did the business last week and secured our play-off place.
"We just want the players to have a good attitude and perform to the best of their ability."
Fourth-placed Morecambe will face Dagenham in their play-off semi-final.
Aldershot, who sealed their own play-off spot last week, take on Rotherham in the other two-leg semi.
