Burnley FC dismiss talk of move for Everton FC striker James Vaughan

Everton FC striker James Vaughan will not be moving to Burnley FC according to sources within the club.

Reports in the national press at the weekend suggested the Clarets were rivaling Sheffield United for the loan of the 22-year-old.

In response a club official said: "There is absolutely nothing in it."

Toffees boss David Moyes is thought to be keen to send him out on loan with a view to sorting out a permanent move.
