It is reported that Chris Eagles is on the verge of signing a new contract at Burnley FC.
Eagles is in the final year of his current Clarets deal and has accepted a new offer from the Turf Moor outfit after recently rejecting an offer from SPL outfit Rangers.
Clarets boss Brian Laws remains determined to hang on to the 24-year-old and it is understood Eagles is ready to commit his future to the club.
The midfielder has scored 10 goals in almost 100 appearances for Burnley since joining the club from Manchester United two years ago.
He has made two substitute appearances in the Championship so far this season and is now set to stay part of Laws' long-term plans.
