Burnley FC boss Brian Laws has revealed he is set to have talks with a mystery goalkeeper target tomorrow.
It is widely understood the player is Newcastle United keeper Fraser Forster who has been linked with a move to Turf Moor but Laws was unwilling to offer any names.
"I said on Saturday that we hoped to have further progress and I have done," confirmed Laws after seeing his side win 2-1 at Oldham on Monday night.
"We have been in contact again and I am meeting the player on Wednesday. Hopefully we can get everything signed, sealed and delivered for our tour on Saturday.
"Fingers crossed, the talks and everything else will go well. Barring any disasters we are feeling pretty confident."
