Ross Wallace says he cannot wait for the Championship campaign to start after his move to Burnley FC from Preston North End.
The Scotland winger last week joined the Clarets for an undisclosed fee, signing a three-year deal at Turf Moor.
Wallace is delighted with his surprise move.
He said: "The move came out the blue a few days ago and I just jumped at the chance. Obviously the club came down last season but I looked at it as going forward. There's no doubt Burnley is a good club.
"They've kept a lot of the same players from last year and it's an exciting squad.
"I know a bit about the set-up here and I can't wait for the season to start. Hopefully I will get off to a good start and the fans take to me."
