Burnley FC boss Brian Laws has hit out at SPL club Hearts after he decided to give up the chase for Hearts winger Andy Driver.

The Championship side have had two bids of £1.5 million and £2 million rejected by the Tynecastle club who want around £3 million.

Laws said: “We have made our interest in Driver perfectly clear and have offered some very significant sums.

“I have to say now that enough is enough.

“The latest offer was very significant indeed when you consider he is a guy who hasn’t played a lot over the past year and is currently injured.”

if he,d had a full season and was fit with no injury worries you might have a point he could be a liability

Totally Agree Willie.Has he ever thought he's OUR player and if we don't get the bid we want for him then maybe we want to keep him.

If we value him at around 3.5million, why would we let you have him for 2million? Numpty!
