Burnley FC unaware of Everton FC and Sunderland FC interest in midfielder Eagles
According to reports Burnley FC are still waiting for offers for midfielder Chris Eagles.
The Lancashire Telegraph claims the Clarets have not received an official approach by Sunderland for Eagles, despite speculation of a £1 million bid.
Although entering the final year of his contract at Turf Moor, boss Brian Laws would only be tempted by a significantly higher offer given they spent around £1.3 million to take him from Manchester United.
Everton have also been linked with Eagles since the end of the season and the 24-year-old himself has expressed a desire to stay in the Premier League.
