According to reports Sunderland FC are chasing Burnley FC winger Chris Eagles.

The Sun claims the Black Cats are lining up a £1 million bid to sign the former Manchester United midfielder.

The 24-year-old winger has a year left to run on his deal at Turf Moor but he has intimated that he wants a move back to the Premier League at this stage of his career.

Eagles has also been linked with both Everton and Tottemham.

WHY??? Bruce is talking about one or two QUALITY signings - there is no chanve that he is interesred in this "never-was".
