According to reports Fulham FC boss Roy Hodgson is hoping to land Burnley FC centre-back Andre Bikey.

The defender, who is currently with Cameroon's World Cup squad, is believed to have impressed the Craven Cottage boss this season.

The Daily Star Sunday claims Hodgson is willing to hand Bikey an immediate return to the Premier League at Fulham.

The Lancashire Telegraph backs up the story, claiming the Cottagers have been linked with a £1 million move.

The paper understands Hodgson wants to secure a deal quickly and so a potential price hike should Bikey perform well in the World Cup.

There is no way we would let Bikey leave for £1m.We signed Bikey in a deal worth £2.8m(we paid £1.8m) less than a year ago.No truth in it.
