According to reports Burnley FC are ready to secure a permanent deal for Wolves striker Chris Iwelumo.

The Daily Mail claims the Scottish international is poised to join the Clarets in a £500,000 move.

The 31-year-old had initially been lined-up as a makeweight in Wolves' £7 million bid to sign Burnley striker Steven Fletcher.

However, it seems Iwelumo is now moving regardless after holding talks at Turf Moor on Friday.
