Birmingham City to swoop for Burnley FC striker

It is reported that Birmingham City have joined the race for Burnley FC striker Steven Fletcher.

The Mirror claims City boss Alex McLeish ready to go head-to-head with Midlands rivals Wolves for the Clarets marksman.

The former Hibernian player impressed at Turf Moor last season, scoring 12 goals following a £3 million move from Easter Road.

Now City are ready to table an official bid of £6 million for the Scot.
