Burnley boss Brian Laws is chasing Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Lee Grant.

The Daily Mail says Laws is pushing on with his plans with plans to take Grant from Sheffield Wednesday.

Laws is ready to offer £1.5million for Grant after inquiring about the former England U21 keeper in January.

Wigan Athletic are also interested in Grant among others as they look to increase competition for Chris Kirkland.

I would easily take 1.5mil for him! He is a good goalkeeper, but he won't do nothing this season for us, because we have a terrible defence!
