Burnley FC will find out later this week how much they must pay Manchester United for defender Richard Eckersley.
Eckersley joined the Clarets on a four-year deal in July after allowing his contract at Old Trafford to expire.
The two clubs were unable to agree a deal for the 20-year-old and therefore had to attend an independent tribunal on Monday which sat to decide a fee.
The tribunal committee will inform Burnley and United of its verdict in the next few days.
Burnley manager Brian Laws told the club's official website: "We had a very good hearing and put our case across.
"We remain hopeful of a positive outcome, but we must now await the verdict."
Eckersley, who progressed through United's youth ranks, has made three appearances for Burnley this season, but has yet to play for them in the Premier League.
