Chelsea FC youngster Jack Cork has admitted his loan move to Burnley FC was borne out of frustration at his lack of opportunities at Stamford Bridge.

The England Under-21 international is currently on loan at Turf Moor as he has yet to play a senior game for the Blues.

"It's been frustrating at Chelsea because I have had to keep going out on loan, and this is the first time I have gone to a Premier League club," Cork told The People.

"John Terry is the biggest player there who has come through the ranks and done it, but apart from that it has been really hard for everyone.

"I've been to Coventry, Southampton, Watford, Scunthorpe and Bournemouth before Burnley.

"I've been living in hotels and apartments. It's been frustrating but I have enjoyed it. I've had some great experiences.

"I knew what the score was as a professional footballer before I started playing because of my dad.

"I've played in the Championship and if I do well at Burnley it is a good step for me, to try to break through at this level.

"The loan market is so helpful for young players at Chelsea. Going on loan is the way it is going to have to be done."
