Burnley in battle with Wolfsburg for Celtic’s Caldwell

It is reported that Burnley will have to fight it out with Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg if they are to secure the signature of Celtic defender Gary Caldwell.

The Scottish Sun says the two clubs could well be joined by Hannover '96 and Schalke 04.

Paul Martin, Caldwell's agent is believed to have been in talks with all three German clubs.

Premiership side Burnley have also been alerted to Caldwell's availability ahead of the next transfer window.
